RemeMG.

The Boston-based Upstream MG clinical trial gave me an insulated backpack last Tuesday. It's a hand-me-down leftover from RemeMG, the China-based Myasthenia Gravis trial sponsored by RemeGen Co. (荣昌生物) that concluded earlier. They also provided a phone that runs only one app... 😉

The backpack is designed to carry my personal supply of Telitacicept (marketed in China for FIVE autoimmune disorders) and it's insulated because this medicine requires refrigeration. So when I go on a trip, I need to put ice packs in the knapsack with the box(es) containing loaded hypodermic needles.

Every week, on the same day, I shoot myself up with two syringes. Shoulders, thighs, or stomach, in rotation. Two different injection sites, with at least two inches separating them. A sticky narrow booklet is wrapped around each injector, with instructions for 23 countries in 12 different languages: Czech, Dutch, French, Georgian, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, and... what's that other one? Oh yeah, English. 😉

See the springs? When I finish pushing the plunger, they pop the needle out of my body. Easy Sqweezy, Super Cheesy!

"Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is" Dept: Vor Biopharma is the sponsor of this clinical trial, and the medicine is working extraordinarily well for me. When Vor announces the trial results next year, I suspect their stock price will skyrocket. So, as of last Thursday, I became the proud owner of several shares. Symbolic investment in my future. 💵💰🪎😉
